Buffalo police riot squad quit to back officers who shoved man
John Evans, president of Buffalo’s police union, when speaking to Maki Becker at The Buffalo News:
"Our position is these officers were simply following orders from Deputy Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia to clear the square," Evans said.
